Residents of Austin who wish to become members of the Memphremagog municipal library must pay the membership fee of $7.00. The Municipality will reimburse the non-resident surcharge on presentation of the proof of membership (pink receipt).

A charge will be levied, and the following amounts should be paid prior to the use of rooms, by the day or part of a day (rental charges for various municipal premises, by-law 04-303):

The person renting the facility agrees to pay the municipality the sum of $60.00 as a deposit, in addition to the rental cost (above). This sum will be reimbursed after the activity, based on the premises used for the activity being left in the same condition as they were when they were rented, and the key returned to the person responsible at the municipality.

If the premises used are not left in the same condition, an amount of $45.00 will be retained by the municipality. Should the keys not be returned to the person in charge at the town hall, the amount of $15.00 will be retained by the municipality.

The playground and ball field features is equipped with various facilities for sports activities, including a skating rink with lighting (designed for skateboarding in summer), a ball park for softball, a volleyball court, a play centre for younger children and swings. The sports chalet is open when there are organized activities at the park.

There is usually a summer day camp lasting for several weeks in the summer.

Boat stickers
To help control the spread of zebra mussels, a sticker must be displayed on every boat, canoe, sailboat, pedal boat or surf board used in Lake Memphremagog.

If you are not a resident of one of the municipalities on Lake Memphremagog, you must have your boat washed at one of the washing stations in order to obtain your washing certificate.

   at the town hall, during regular office hours, Monday to Thursday, 8h00 to 16h30,
