Residents of Austin who wish to become members of the Memphremagog municipal library must pay the membership fee of $7.00. The Municipality will reimburse the non-resident surcharge on presentation of the proof of membership (pink receipt).

Austin Livres-service

he Austin lending library, a free service system, has been added to the salle des loisirs at the town hall, for residents of Austin. The room has been arranged as a free-access lending library. Books in French and English for all tastes and all ages are available for you to borrow during the opening hours of the town hall.

This new lending library offers you a free lending service, as a complement to your membership at the Memphremagog Library in Magog.

Because the collection of livres has come from many citizens , the ultural committee counts on users to act in the founding spirit of the library: "I borrow, I read, I share and I return the book."

Directions for borrowing are simple:

You write your name and the titles of books you are borrowing in the record book. (This lets the committee know your preferences and help us to better develop the collection.)
You return the books and place them in the box marked "Retour".

A word to donors of books:

We have been given a large number of books and magazines and we have a problem of space on the shelves and some works have had to be put aside for the moment.
