With these 2 fire stations, most residents of Austin are within 8 kilometres of one or the other.


First Responders

Austin has its own First Responders team for emercency situations.

In case of any emergency, call 911.

The Fire Department is always looking for persons interested in becoming volunteer firemen or first responders and with some time available, to offer coverage on the territory. Remuneration is on an hourly basis. If you are interested, please call the town with your contact information: 819-843-2388 or send an email to k.lachapelle@municipalite.austin.qc.ca

For any emergency concerning the roads network, please call David Cormier ar 819 820-5928 or Arthur Bryant or Jean-Marc Couture, councillors who sit on the Roads committee.
